Meet Agatha.
Here we are just chilling one day last summer in the back yard after a cup of espresso, with my grand children’s toys in the background. Let me introduce you to my partner, my friend, my wife and now my editor for this website and all my writings. She’s way smarter than me when it comes to these things.
My wife and I have been married for 43 years, that’s a very long time, I thought it would be a good idea to introduce her considering she is now part of my staff, I gave her the title of editor. It turns out she is very good at it. When I started writing my blogs and posts about a year ago, I needed someone to edit these writings I was creating. She can spot problems in my writings way long before I realize my own mistakes. Now, when I am done with a post, I just give it to her and, better than “chat GBT”, she knows exactly how I like my posts to look when I publish them. With great confidence that the posts have been edited by her we review them together a final time and post the finished product. She does a great job I must say. No, she didn’t twist my arm to say that. I am being genuine. Let me introduce you to my wonderful wife and editor.
Hi, this is Agatha, Liborio’s better half., also, the chief editor, as my husband calls me. Me and my full staff………Who am I kidding I’m the only one here. Anyway, as I was saying, I have always been my husband biggest supporter, in all the years that we have been married. Over the years he’s had many ideas, some crazy one’s and some great ones. One of his crazy ideas was back when our daughter was about 6 months old. He comes home from work one day and says we are going on vacation to Virginia Beach for our anniversary, this was in July of 1985. So, we pack up our stuff for the long car ride to VB, my best friend and her boyfriend came along on vacation with us. One morning, in our hotel room, we were getting ready to go to the beach and he says, hey you guys go ahead and go to the beach, I have to take care of something. long story short he is missing for most of the morning. Finally, half a day later he come back, meets us on the beach and says good new we are moving to Virginia in September. I don’t question him at all I just said great, I love it. The next thing you know September comes around and we packed a rental truck to the max. We make the move to our newly adopted state and lived there for the next five years. Virginia was great to live in and raise our young daughter. And that was just one of his crazy ideas in which, I was glad to have supported him. About five years later, in 1990, we headed back to New York. We missed our families and the holiday gatherings we always had. That, our Italian traditions and good New York pizza meant a lot to us.
About a year ago he comes up with another hair ass idea that he wanted to become a life coach, I had no idea what a life coach was or what exactly my husband wanted to do. He explained the concept of a life coach, all I could think about in my head was, another great idea, now! he wants to be a psychologist. I don’t know how he is going to accomplish that, he never made it to college, and he wants to screw with people’s minds. I didn't know where he was going with this. I just said babe, you go for it. In my head I said, I know what, he is trying to figure me out. Good luck with that, in 45 odd years he has not succeeded yet, but he’s probably trying.
About 3 months ago, in the summer of 2024, he changes his mind about screwing with people’s heads and he started with the idea of a becoming a “Financial Coach”, I said great now he thinks he’s an accountant. As time went on, he kept on talking to me about this financial coaching thing. Now I’m thinking, he might have something there because he has been studying finances and he’s been investing in the stock market over the past 13 years. On a side note, about 15 years ago we were in a very bad financial situation, really bad financial mess, and we both worked at it, and we got ourselves out that mess. It wasn’t easy, it took a few years, but we got ourselves out of that near catastrophe. I don’t know where he learned all of this financial stuff but he figured it out somehow. With that, I’m thinking, he may really have something there. So, he went on to create this fantastic website, I have no idea how he learned how to do this but he’s doing it, after all he’s automotive mechanic by trade. Computer skills! he had hardly any. I think he’s doing a great job and so here I go again supporting his newest idea. I kind of like that, he’s very eclectic I must say.
